Imagine Cruises is an advanced Eco-Accredited company. All of our tours are designed to combine knowledge of our environment and tourism in a successful partnership. We showcase the best that the Port Stephens-Great Lakes Marine Park has to offer, while simultaneously doing our best to provide our guests with factual and interesting information about our spectacular marine environment and the local history.
In 1995, Imagine was built by company director Frank Future, and then business partner Yves Papin, with the help of a group of stakeholders. The boat was launched with a vision to help make Port Stephens a model of Ecotourism. For over 27 years, Imagine has continued to support research and conservation initiatives such as the Dolphin Research Education and Management (DREAM) research fund, Eco Network Port Stephens, Ocean & Coastal Care Initiatives, International Whaling Commission, Eco-tourism Australia and the Marine Parks Association.

Eco tourism
Eco-tourists are looking to minimise the carbon footprint of their travel, traveling with climate in mind, planning wisely and choosing consciously. They are also looking to experience authentic and educational tours that give them the opportunity to give back to the communities they visit.
Imagine cruises is proud to be an Eco Certified Advanced Tourism operator, as well as being 1 of only 104 Green Travel Leaders within the Country. This accreditation demonstrates commitment to environmental responsibility through 10+ years of ECO Certification.
$1 from every Dolphin Watch or Marine Discovery ticket sold will be donated to the Marine Parks Association, furthering research on our resident Bottlenose Dolphins.

THE VESSEL

Imagine is a 16 metre (53ft) sailing catamaran, purpose-designed as a model for eco-tourism and capable of both offshore and inshore cruising. She offers a covered foredeck and after deck as well as a comfortable downstairs cabin with toilet facilities and licenced bar.
